Your thesis looks good, but I'm not sure you want to use "I" in it? Maybe just say something like:
How can xeriscape landscaping be adapted onto a Kamloops site and blend in with the surrounding non-zeriscaped gardens?
I like the topic you have chose; it would be interesting to see these ideas adopted into the kamloops region. Do you plan to draw up any drawings on your blog or add any pictures of xeriscape landscaping? Here's a book that may be of interest to you that i found online.

Your thesis question is very close to the mark. There is no doubt that xeriscape gardens save water, but how can we get people to implement this type of landscaping?
Have you gotten a hold of that document from the City that tells you what kind of plants will do well in Kamloops? If not, I can see if I have a copy in my office.
I have not gotten the document yet. If you had a copy that would be great and save me a trip downtown.
Thanks morgan for the great advice I'm gonna go with a thesis similar to the one you have suggested.
kent,
I understand the need for a xeriscaped yard and i also see what it looks like but i don't fully understand what makes a yard xeriscaped? is it the use of rocks and gravel, different soils or what? It would be helpful to better clarify the differences. This could be accomplished well with pictures of a non-xeriscaped yard next to a xeriscaped yard.
Thanks for the great idea John I'll be sure to do that.
